About
A family workshop, not a factory
Lavinia Craft began the way most good tables do: with one tree, one family and a lot of patience. We mill, dry and shape solid walnut slabs by hand in our workshop, and every piece that leaves it — dining tables, river tables, bed frames, mirrors — is built to be used daily and passed down.
We work with solid wood only. No veneers, no particle board, no batch production. Each slab keeps its own grain, its own live edge, its own story — which is why no two of our pieces are alike, and why most of our work is made to order.
Our furniture lives in homes across the United States, Canada, the UK and Europe. Ready-to-ship pieces leave the workshop within days; commissioned pieces take a few weeks, and we share progress photos along the way. Everything ships insured, and large pieces arrive by freight with room-of-choice delivery.
